The irony is killing me.

The Transportation Security Administration’s intrusion of individual privacy represents one of the biggest modern American civil liberty violations. Now their new primary operational center has been renamed the ‘Freedom Center’. I cannot make this shit up.

Can You Feel The Freedom Being Protected?

In anycase, here is the TSA on the renaming.

Truth is truly stranger than fiction. TSA apparently does not require US citizenship or education beyond elementary school as conditions for employment. I, for one, will be glad when air travel no longer requires undressing and emptying nearly all contents of one’s baggage into grey bins prior to being allowed to enter the gate area. This is not security, it is taking advantage of the majority of the populace’s stupidity.

I'm a fourth year medical student in Texas.

I did my undergrad work in USC's School of Cinematic Arts. I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Writing for Screen & Television. I loved it, but a future of waiting tables and taking meetings with B-List producers was not for me.

This blog is ostensibly to discuss healthcare policy and maybe educate a few of my fellow medical students. But it will stray into current events, politics, and other science topics when they draw my interest

I "played" lacrosse in high school and through a club level team in college

I'm a pretty good cook
The part of my brain allowing me to assimilate new languages is atrophic or broken or something
"Therefor I Travel." I've currently been to (if for too short a time): Mexico, Australia, Britain, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, Canada, Czech Republic, Ireland
I'm a big sports fan, especially college football and NBA basketball. My teams: USC Trojans, San Antonio Spurs, Texas Longhorns, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Astros, Duke Blue Devils (Lacrosse), West Ham United
